With new imaging techniques, countering the side effects of aging is not only possible but even more effective. With 3D scanning and 360 body imaging, doctors are now becoming able to see with more accuracy exactly where Botox or any procedure needs to take place and can even measure just how much of a procedure is needed.
Consultations about the back side of the anatomy can be difficult to simulate and often require the use of multiple mirrors or flat 2D pictures. Now physicians have a new tool to help illustrate potential outcomes. Canfield Scientific has introduced VECTRA XT 360° Body Imaging in high resolution 3D. With this new feature, a front and back view of the patient is automatically stitched together into a single, seamless wraparound image, allowing patients and physicians to see all of the shapes, curves and folds on the patient’s body, as well as the proportional impact of body contouring procedures, such as abdominoplasty, liposuction and buttock augmentation. The body imaging software can be used alone or in conjunction with breast augmentation and mastopexy tools in the BreastSculptor module. VECTRA XT 360° is now a standard feature in VECTRA version 5.6 and is available as a free upgrade to customers with current Canfield Care Support & Upgrade agreements.
